So following on from my post about going all Jane Bown and using an old film camera, here is Adele shot with my Nikon FM2 and Ilford HP5. So used to the clean crisp images of digital, the grain is slightly over whelming on first look. Low res scans have been processed in Lightroom. I love dipping into to using film occasionally, especially with my medium format cameras…but have grown to love working with digital, especially with its ability to cope with the lighting situations I find myself shooting in daily. Good to revisit though, and respect to Ms. Bown who made such engaging portraits.
